21st December 2013 Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Dip Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: 16-25 Surf / Sea State: nice Air Temperature: 9 Sea Temperature: 8.1 Weather: cloud n bit of rain Max Speed: Distance Covered: Paul S waiting for wind to arrive the Phil too, Chris P chatting. 6m broke so rigged 5.2m/96 just about enough. Sea building and bit choppy. A couple of other turned up then as wind built went through 5.2m/85l, 5.2m/76l, 4.7m/76l and for a while 4.2m would have done. Sea had some good rollers and quite smooth, nice sail. First time trying 76l; bit slower than 85l, bit smoother (may have been smaller fin) and sails flatter. Some great turns on outside, and towards end fell in on inside, gybes came off again so packed on a winner and as tired and Paul gone in.very good fun, Dip sea getting good, |
